The first thing i would check is mac filtering. Not that mac filtering is a huge security feature it will keep you out if you don't know its on.![]()
I recently got the linksys WRT54G router and I have it set up and running fine. The host computer works and is online, but I cannot connect with my laptop which has centrino. I can see the network, and I try to connect and it wont let me. It says limited or no connectivity. I cant find anyone else with a similar (basic) problem. Please help.
Thanks.

OK the first thing you need to do is update the firmware for your router, then log into your router and enable WPA encryption. Once that is done use the built in wireless setup with XP and and set the same WPA encryption as you did in your router, it will be a paraphrase you need to make up that will be entered into the routers settings and your laptop. Also disable remote administration.

Ok Ill give those a try. Everytime I enable some kind of encryption the other computers lose connection. But I will try WPA and MAC filtering and use the other computer to set the changes. Thanks again.
