You're sure it's not a) Monitor b) Monitor cable or c) Monitor temperature settings?

Monitor cables going wonky can lead to all kinds of fun colouration.

What I ussualy do is unistall the last programs I have just recently installed. One at a time untill my problem is fixed and if I uninstall more than 5 and its not fixed... FORMAT C: /U

Try uninstalling the last few programs you've recently installed.

Have you tried different DVD playing programs? Which program are you useing to view the DVDs?

What program do you use to play DVD's, AVI's, and WM files? I'd start looking there. Try another program to play you're DVD's.

Unless I've missed it, what program are you using?

Many DVD player programs (such as PowerDVD) have "profiles" where you can store custom color/brightness settings.
