slow downloads using DSL

When I start a DL it starts off ok, then either slows down to 0K or stops at around 2MB....anyone have any ideas?

Steve,
normally (nature of the Internet), any download starts low, within a minute or two, the speed gradually increases and stays around some figure to the end. If all your downloads are consistently as you describe (as opposed to an occasional page at an occasional time), something is grossly wrong with your settings/connection.
