    outlook express problem

    Ok here's the problem, sometime my buddy send me pic or anything that has attachment on it but the problem is that i can't view these stuff. I try opening it and it showed a blank page. What i have to do is forward the mail he send me to my hotmail and view it there instead. I don't know what causing it. Please help.

    If you have Service Pack 2 installed, there is a new option:

    Tools > Options > Security > Download Images "Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail"

    Uncheck that. If it still doesn't work, uncheck the "Do not allow attachments to be opened or saved".

    I had the exact same problem on Outlook Express on another system I am running, and the above quote fixed it right up. Not sure what causes that to get checked, but unchecked seems to fix it.

    It's the default setting, set for security purposes.
