D-Link DWL-G650 Fix

I've been plagued by losing signal strength and dropping connections the past few months after upgrading firmwares and drivers.
Using XP on my laptop, I recently found that by exiting the D-Link configuration program that self loads, the signal strength went from poor to excellent. I went into the Start Up folder and deleted it's shortut so it doesn't load at start up and all has been well.

Update, conection works at 108 Mbs for the first time.
