For the population Density, New York is actually a pretty safe place to live. People always think of NY as a bad place with gangs and murderers but its far from the truth.
We didn't even make that list , I thought we would be at least in the bottom of the 25, so thats a great thing.

Would you say its true that Giuliani cleaned up new york, and its much, much better than it was 15 years ago?
Funny is when a fat lady walks around while someone plays the tuba. Once you've seen that, you'll never laugh at anything else. Except maybe a skeleton dancing around while someone plays the xylophone, which is almost exactly the opposite of a fat lady walking around while someone plays the tuba. Well, a skeleton is the opposite of a fat lady. But is a xylophone the opposite of a tuba? History will decide.

In the part of Brooklyn I live in..Its never been that bad. I would have to say that the beginnings of a New New York started with Mayor Koch. Without the people of New York, these guys would be nothing tho. I would say it was the people of NYC that cleaned it up.

    Hi Meggie

Pretty scary stuff to have to face each day. I don't blame you for locking your car.

    Stay safe

While Yes it was most of NYC Police Dept, but mayor Guailaini deserves lots of credit, becuase he was full support and had directives that relly motivated the police.

If it werent for the police it still be very dangerous
