Are they intimating that it might possibly be alien , as in foreign? Could it have been something just floating in space and Jupiter pulled it into its gravity field? That purple haze above Cassini was strange.Imagine it was a force field of some kind. That would be wild. I hope some kind of major discovery is found in my lifetime .That would be very cool.

alien as in they haven't seen another moon exhibit traits like this one before

but we don't have a large database of planets/moons we've explored, sooooo that isn't too shocking for me, heh

of course there are gonna be all kinds of different planets and moons out there
