Lightbulb Crazy tweaker tweaking with crazy settings

My I-net connection is 3.5mbps/256kbps upload

    My setting's are these

Rwin: 2055680 (instead of the normal 513920)

max mtu: 3000 (instead of 1500)

    ttl:64

my connections 160/160 (instead of 20/40)

I also got good results from 80/80

My dl is 416kb/s with these settings and around 30kb/s for upload
    MAX

Now I want you to tell me why most of you insist on using these small settings instead of big settings like this. Obviously they work.

Can these settings be expanded even further?

    Post your answers.

No those settings don't work, they are completely ridiculous and I don't even think that is a legit value for an RWIN and the MTU is NOT legit, 1500 is the maximum legit value. I'm not going into why, because it's been discussed here over and over and over again, just search the forums.

You can also leave both of the receive windows blank. Windows will resize it automatically.

These are also assuming you are not running PPOE

Well first off your MTU needs to be 1480 or 1492. I will post a set of numbers for you if you would like.
