Lots of states have early voting. Mail-in ballots are a common thing in AZ-- when you register you can opt to always have a ballot sent to you so you don't have to visit the polls. Here in pima county, they've already sent out almost 100,000 early ballots.

No it's not absentee voting. You can walk right in and Vote. Its being done in 4 states. Florida, Colorado, Texas and I forget the 4th. Basically I believe it's being done in response to 2000 to ensure people get the opportunity to vote.Originally Posted by koldchillah

I've only lived in FL for about a year, and im gonna lay out a theory here. Has anyone given the thought of how many immigrants/retired people live in FL? I beleive its early to make sure everyone can get instructions if needed instead of everyone rushing at the same time and getting confused on how to operate the voting machines/cards.
