    BioShock announced for SystemShock/horror fans

I've been wanting a SS2 sequel or even an updated version on a recent engine. It seems they have something else in store.

I have no doubt that this will be allot of fun. It's good to see the horror venue make a modest return. With that remember that Call of Cthulhu will be out soon despite it's slight delay.

I love the Deus Ex series the it mentions in the article, never played SS2. Although Deus Ex 2 - Invisible War was a bit disappointing with it's no MP mode (unlike Deus Ex 1) it was still a great game in SP with hardly any updates required.

If BioShock is anything like it I may look into getting that, hopefully it has MP too.

Yeah Deus Ex 1 was much better than it's sequel.
You can actually grab the full version of SS2 for free here:

It's well worth playing through if you liked the first Deus. Both games share a strong link/influence yet each remains distinct. SS2 is like a scary Deus Ex with the same feel to it.
