    ok i got MY MOBO now a question

    I just bought this one

    now what would be the best RAM and Procssor to get for it?

    perhaps via chipset's have gotten better. However, i've never had a good experience with via. In fact, i wouldn never have considered an amd processor until nvidia starting the nforce chipset.

    Soyo's motherboards are questionable as it is, but using a via chipset just makes it scary.

    intel comes out with new drivers for it's chipsets once in a blue moon.

    via finds it necessary to constantly release new drivers because of existing issues.

    again, perhaps things have changed. I'm not a fan though.

    SOYO is not the best motherboard manufacturer, and with the exception of the K8T800(pro), Via's chipsets are all pretty lousy. Something with an 875P chipset would be good, although an "enhanced" 865PE like those used in ASUS boards is about as good.

    intel chipsets are faster than via.
