Wireless lan working fine - then not working :(

I've recently got a d-link wireless adsl router which I set up last week and has been working like a dream for about 3 days, yesterday the wireless connection dropped and I get "wireless connection unavailavble" with the link light on my PCMCIA card flashing.

Then intermittently I get "One or more wireless networks is available - click here for list of available networks"

When I click I get a window that shows my wirless connection sometimes but not others but it still doesnt connect.

Also my card utility will not start and I get an error message saying "no wireless adapter found" I've rebooted about 300 times and also unistalled and reinstalled the utility and hardware. It took me about 3 weeks and 3 different sets of hardware to get this network running so obviously I'm totally peed off that its not working now. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Welcome to SpeedGuide.net !

From what info that you have provided.. it "seems" like it might be your
PCMCIA card. You say the "card utility" can't see the PCMCIA card.
Maybe the card is just defective?

Have you tried to hook up a computer, with CAT-5 cable straight to the Wireless router's CAT-5 jacks? Just to verify, if the router is working "at all"?

Can you can exchange the PCMCIA card for a new one?
or maybe, better yet, a differn't make and model?

So other people may try to help you also,

    Whats your Operating System?
Whats is the make and model of your PCMCIA card?
What is the Laptop Make and Model?
What is the Model of DLink Wireless router that you have?

Try to walk away from it for a while then come back to it.
    Sometimes that helps also..

Post Back, so others can try to help too. Ok?

    Shinobi.
