Post How do I manually configure my TCP/IP info and other stuff in Network options?

Hola, I was wondering if someone could tell me exactly what kind of info to manually add into the tcp/ip properties of the ethernet adapter in the network neighborhood properties? I know what to put in the ip address section (i think, haha), but I was wondering what to put in all of the other tabs, and how exactly do i find the info to put in there? I'm trying to add things in here manually, because I think it will help out my connection. Thanks.

You will need to obtain the following info from your ISP:

    Computer IP
    Gateway IP
    Primary DNS
    Secondary DNS
    Subnet Mask

Plug them in, restart and see what happens.

It won't help your connection. It will cause you to be disconnected the first time they change your IP. If your provider uses DHCP, you should not set your stack up for static.
