Thread: <textarea> capacity? (html)

    <textarea> capacity? (html)

What is a capacity (maximum length) for <textarea>? I'm facing a problem when I fill the <textarea> with large amount of data and then trying to hit the submit button, the form is not submitting. Then when I put a few words in the <textarea> it's submitted perfectly. How to overcome it?

Likely that the program you are submitting the form to has a limiter.
No one has any right to force data on you
and command you to believe it or else.
If it is not true for you, it isn't true.

I would agree with that. If it's being submitted into a database, you probably have size limitations AND syntax limitations (IE quotes will give you problems).
Simply run adaware, spybot, ZoneAlarm, HijackThis, AVG, update windows daily, have a router, don't open e-mail, turn off action scripting, don't use P2P networks, don't violate EULAs, and wear a condom to get Windows secured.

People say Linux is alot of work!
