Question What did I do my power options?

Windows 2003 server, I ran a boot time defrag with Diskeeper 8.0. After it booted up my power options were grayed out. I'm also using TweakUI fo XP, but I don't see anything in the options to configure any power options.

Any Ideas on how I can get this repaired?

Well I decided to demote the domain controller and it started to work.

But since Outlook started giving me problems too, I decided to do a fresh install. The last thing I need right now is for other problems to pop up, a few months from now when I have this thing in service.

    Thanks for your help.

That is truly odd, are you sure that one of those programs did that? I've promoted plenty of servers and never seen that. Then again I've never looked at it either since the box was never to be shut off.

I'm assuming that you've seen this before and that fixes it? Good to know for future reference.

I do most of my work on my server. It's in a closet on the other side of the wall form where my desk is, so my living room stays nice and quite.
I start up my game PC to play games or burn CD's, DVD's and stuff. It's kind of loud, with all the fans are on. It sits in my PC desk in the living room.

I have antivirus running and somewhat of a firewall (Linksys router) so for the most part I've been OK with it. Plus I do regular backups of the op-sys partition should something happen. I know it's like playing with fire, but I just hope for the best.

    Server Closet

Hole where cables come through to my living room, to connect to the KVM switch and my game pc "Spiderman". As soon as we get the sheetrock up I can get rid of that nasty ass paneling, then I'll make the wires a lot neater.

Since it was a fresh install, I just went ahead and installed again. I don't need some other weird problem popping up on me months from now, after this has been in service for a while.
