    IF you ever use IE to connect to FTP sites that you own, e.g. those with your username and password, then it's best to NOT use this cumulative update and only use the separate individual updates that you want. This cumulative update includes an update that eliminates the ability of the browser to connect to FTP sites when typing the username and password in the adsdress bar:

    Additionally, this update will disallow navigation to "username : password @ host.com"

    I use both an ftp client and the browser to connect to ftp sites therefore I will not use the cumulative update.

    Get WS_FTP its free.

    You need this update dont skip it to use IE's crappy FTP.
