I'm in the market for a new printer ($400 and under). Preferbly a color printer but it would be used mostly for text purposes. Any suggestions?

HP 932C or better, can't go wrong. You could buy 3 of them for $400, worth every penny!

this is the printer i have, it's AWESOMEEEEEE great qualtiy and fast too and doesn't cause an earthquake printing!

I have an HP deskjet 932C and its a great printer.

Give ya a Panasonis KXP 1092, circa 1989..it s dot matrix. Just make sure ya invest in a pair of earmuffs. This thing will make you go deaf. On fine mode you might get 50 DPI.

Hey Rick, you said that it was mostly for text right, at Cnet they gave that Canon bad comments on its text output. HP is better than Canon anyways, especially when it comes to text.
