Me and my girlfriend decided a few years back that we would only get 1 big thing that we needed instead of a lot of little things that we would just toss in a drawer someplace.

3 years ago we got a washer & dryer set

2 years ago we got a much needed televison

1 year ago we got a much needed storm door for the house.

This year we got a GENIE garage door opener ( now I will not have to pull up right to the door and hold the remote out the window to get the door to open).

We just go and get the item and split the cost. This has worked out very well for us.

Companionship with my family.... The best gift of all...

My heart goes out to all our serviceman who are working in all parts of the world today. Along with all the police officers at home, and our firemen and other emergency personal who are doing a very unselfish thing buy keeping our country safe, and protecting our streets, serving our hospitials, and keeping neighborhoods from burning down.

May you be blessed this day...and Thank you for your sacrifice.

Bought my wife a portable dvd player too
