The network administrators at my collegehave the network set up so that applications such as games do not work over the internet, however applications like internet explorer and AIM do.

My question is this: Is there any way I can set it up so that when a game tries to use a particular port, outgoing packets get routed through a different port and incoming packets get routed back to the original port?

I don't use AIM (although it is allowed) so this would be awesome if I could make packets go through the AIM port and come back in through it as well.

I know a few broadband routers probably support this, however I am looking for more or less a software solution; as my university doesn't support routers.
