When I run the "ImeshLiteUpgradeSuite" I get 42 new spyware entries

Whenever I run this program I get anywhere from 31 - 42 new spyware entries. I delete them, then I check for spyware again - nothing. Then I click it again 42 entires again! Are you guys sure this program is legit?

I posted that in the thread about Better Than Kazaa. That download is full of sh*t. Run all the spyware proggys you have and search the reg for Myway bar. It took me forever to get all that sh*t out and i still have 3 services that i can't locate or remove. Files i download say invaid Win 32, and nothing can be run from my desktop. I'm debating a fresh install.

Yea I read your post there too. I only ran it again because mnosteele said that it was legit. But I'm not sure about it.

I think it's that version of iMesh lite, try this link instead:

iMesh Lite

This is where I got it from and have never detected any spyware or any problems with it.

Steel you are totally right. The version u pointed me to is free also. Hmm I can't believe that fake version is floating around!

iMesh bad...man, I'd format my computer if anyone ever installed that on my rig (after beating them up thoroughly of course). Ooooof...tons of junk that will be nearly impossible to remove now.

Well the version steele gave me has no adware, spyware, etc.
I wouldn't even go near the original Imesh...... and get loaded up with godamn bargain buddy crap.

So I've read here. Still guilty by association in my book. I prefer apps that are squeeky clean and problem free in the first place. And I'm not sure of how actually clean the "lite" versions are. Plus there are viruses out there that specifically target kazaa and imesh users.

they must have removed it the link works but when u go to download nothing happens it just takes you to a page with a bunch of links on it.

the lite versions of programs are usually 100% clear - considering they're not released by the designers of the original programs but instead are a remake - examples: kazaa lite, DC ++, Imesh lite.

I must admit that when I tried Imesh after a fresh install (a long while ago) I removed it instantly but still ended up reformatting.

This one that I was referring to, ended up to be a fake version of imesh-lite, spyware ridden, and they charged for it.

I use Clean KMD 2.4.4 now and Shareaza 1.9.
