What can I use to clean my LCD? Its got smudges in it even though I never touch it, dust, etc.

I know I dont use windex, but what do I use?

I was going to post a link to that thread, but the SG search results for "bullsh|t" were too numerous

sometimes you have to think outside the box to get inside the box .

The correct procedure is just use a lint-free cloth, and when the monitor is OFF.

For smudges, stains, etc., use a lint-free cloth and a small amount of distilled water.

Do not apply too much pressure to the screen!

If you MUST use alcohol, make sure it's isopropyl and dilute it with distilled water. Alternatively, you can take a lint-free cloth that has been dampened with distilled water and put a dab of isopropyl alcohol on it.

Move in one direction only, top to bottom.
