It sucked too! I was out from 4:10 p.m. EST until 1:48 a.m. this date. It just came back up. I was sweating bullets wondering what I was going to do when I ran out of Oxygen.

Yeap, I'm fine. It just ruffled my feathers for almost 10 hours.

I know one thing, I'm not as prepared as I thought for such events!

There would be little chance of the same thing happening again tho. The reports here were saying the authorities would restructure the grid very quickly to prevent it happening again.
Great to hear you're ok though.

Don't worry man, It ruffled mine too, pretty hectic everywhere.
The strrange thing is this though.. a lot of "maybe's" by no "real" reason why it happened, yet.

Last interseting thing that I heard of, is that the Ohio plant's software might of been "hacked", this was from a offical at the plant. Gotta keep track on that topic..

Glad to hear that you are O.K. You haven't told me what packet sniffer you use in tracking the "Blaster" worm 135 porrt probes, blebs.

    Later,
    Shinobi

No secrets. I'm not using a sniffer, I'm just going by what my Zone Alarm logs as port hits. Zone Log is the program.

I've haven't used zone alarm in a while thats why I didn't noticed the zone alarm log screen , in your other post.

I use a combo of logs - my hardware router, Sygate firewall, also Snort packet sniffer / tcp dump logs from my Linux Box.

    Be happy,
    Shinobi
