    Sunset !

    Hot day in So. Cal.... Muggy because sky was cloudy all day. Sun is setting and wife called me to come look. Sun had dropped below horizon and was shining on bottom of clouds. Grabbed a quik pic to share. Kinda pretty.

    (The equatorial radius of the earth is 6378 km and its speed or rotation at the equator is 1670 kilometers/hour with a 24-hour day. At Los Angeles with a latitude of +34 degrees the speed is 1670 x cos(34) = 1384 kilometers/hour.)


    Mine was taken standing in my driveway (moving at a speed of 1,384 km/hr.)
