i've had good experiences with past gigabyte p4 mobo's
$285 for the "regular" and $299 for the version with wireless.
Not sure if it's pre-order or what, though. I e-mailed them to inquire.
EDIT: Right after I posted, I got an e-mail...it's just the pre-order, but the sales rep says Atacom is "the first one getting that board." Hmph.

I really want to try the asus.
Had an abit, a AMD, but a abit none the less and it was good but very delicate.
Gigabyte is going to cost too much for me.
Does that atacom have high prices all around or is that a good board price? I was wondering if someone like newegg could throw it down for 225!
Probably a bit high, as the Canterwood boards have been rumored to enter the market at less of a premium than the Granite Bay boards did. Usually whomever is first out of the gate offering it for sale charges a good 20% more, just to rack up some extra money on each sale.

Looks like it's "targeted" at workstations somewhat, but even the boards manufactured by Intel have overclocking features in their BIOSes, so it's aiming for both the workstation and enthusiast markets.Originally posted by Shaggy
