LOL, any guesses as to these scan results?

*As this is not a software or security question but just a general laugh, please don't move*

About to run the first virus scan on a friend's computer in...over 600 days

Any guess as to the number of viruses?

Keep in mind: Grokster, IMesh, AND original Kazaa installed.
Ran in a university dorm for 1 year.

    Never defragged, never scandisked.

    I'm guessing 15.

Haven't run AdAware yet, but took off about 30 BS programs so far...everything from virtualgirl to bonzaiibuddy.

If he had VirtualGirl installed, then he might not have any viruses.

    Damn Norton's

This product has expired. Please fork over a bunch of money for an update even though you paid for the initial program. Please ignore the fact that there are many completely free anti-virus programs out there.

    Hello AVG

    Only 2 viruses.

    I'm surprised.

Running AdAware now, 53 and counting

Well, i guess there is a chance. But in all seriousness i have been infected zero times by a virus. But i am very careful with my email settings, and about what i open up. I have had viruses emailed to me, especially the dang Kak, but have never been infected. I have downloaded tons of "free" software and still never had a problem. Maybe i am just lucky?

    147 spyware references.

Not sure about the viruses, I took AVG off already.

He has an old Norton's on there so I'll leave him with the AVG exe and let him decide which to use.

I've been lucky too...have always used an anti-virus program but only needed it once...OK, twice.

Once an email virus, once a little trojan from KazaaLite.

    Hello AVG

That's just for the autoupdate BS. You can still manually download the updates and install them.
    Respect it.
