    Cool Need help with Japanese

I have a program, North Bridge Tune for 440 BX

It came from this site, http://www.vector.co.jp/soft/win95/h.../se090519.html

The proggie works great for speeding up RAM benchmarks, but now I'm having a problem with installing it for some reason. I would like to find a translator site or some one who knows Japanese to give me some help.

    **edit**
took out the readme file, made the post waaaaay too long.

Ohh, if you're on Win2k/NT, you must be logged on as Administrator and make sure that the A in Administrator is in Uppercase, not lower case.

If you need anything translated, send it to me or post a screenshot. As long as it's not too geeky, my wife will translate it for you.

    Peace,

Hey RI , make sure that the wnbtio.vxd file is in the same directory as the WBXTune executable.

    Cool

prey, all the files are on the C drive, not even in a folder. It worked for a long time then this error started popping up.

el bob, I'm still trying to figure out all the settings myself. The best way to tell if the settings are benefitting you is to get a benchmarking program such as SiSoft Sandra.

Funk, this is the readme file. It may be a bit much to ask of your wife though. If she could translate it, she would be a goddess to tweakers around the world.

I am assuming that the readme had Kanji characters in it and no that jibba jabba.

If you have teh actual README, mail it to me. If you try to copy and paste Kanji, the UBB will not recognize it and it will turn it into that gobble-d-gook.

    Excuse my technical terms.
If the README looks exactly like that, we are in trouble and I will probably need a link to the program so I can open it with Japanese characters enabled.

It may still not work as NOTEPAD (EN) is not going to open it correctly.
Perhaps the program has a website with the README posted? I could just surf to it and that would be easier.

    Peace,

Simply run adaware, spybot, ZoneAlarm, HijackThis, AVG, update windows daily, have a router, don't open e-mail, turn off action scripting, don't use P2P networks, don't violate EULAs, and wear a condom to get Windows secured.

People say Linux is alot of work!

Hmm, I've never had that problem before RI. Did you try replacing the file giving you the error with the original one? If you need it I can send it to you. Here is the config that gives me the best performance:
