    welp I just scored a Canon s900 Photo printer for xmas, and it gets good reviews across the board, but It didnt come with a USB cable and I havent had time to get out and get one.
    I'm going tomorrow so I'll let you know then how it looks.

    I have had problems with head clogging and misalignment with Epson printers in the past. I cannot recommend them.

    The cheaper HP's have a problem with pulling paper in perfectly straight...

    I've a 932c with that problem...It probalby wouldn't be noticable for prints but if you need something to line up perfect for an Excel spreadsheet, then buy a better one.

    The hi res on the HP's with photopaper as Dakota already stated is crazy. Hard to believe you can get a print like that out of a printer that costs less than a hundred bucks.

    Dakota, I've quite a few friends who work for HP in the valley here.

    UPDATE:

    The cannon s900 I got for xmas is an awesome printer!!! I printed out some 8.5x11's of a few pics i took with my 2MP Cannon PowershotA40 and they look great!!! Prints all the way to the edge of the paper with no borders!
    I hightly recommend this printer

    Cool! When my wide transferred from Cali to here, we did have Boise as a choice along with Corvallis. We know a few people that went out there to Boise.
