Absolutely, laser toner doesn't dry out, and they beat Inkjets for consumables too.

Re: I got a new printer
I lile Laser printers as well, I've had a couple of Brother printers in the last 20 years that saw some heavy use from the wifey. I use a printer/scanner that is wired via Ethernet, only connected to a switch/router. Wireless clients can still find it on the LAN and print to it, and the toner lasts ...

If this started after you reformatted, it may be related to your PC and the OS, however, latency is usually caused by the feed your ISP provides.

Re: Chrome not to support uBlock Origin?
I've been using Ghostery for over a week, and I like it better than uBlock Origin Lite. It skips Youtube ads (mostly), rather than having to wait for the time to pass. The only small gripe I have is the Off button, I have to go through a pull-down menu to turn it off for banking and trusted sites ...

You're right. Also, for all those small engines if you leave them for a few months with regular gas in them, the carburetor can easily get clogged, I always try to use Ethanol-free fuel.

What is the advertised speed of your Internet Connection?
Just choose the "Optimal" setting in the TCP Optiser, apply it and reboot, this covers most basic tweaks.
If you want to do something more, I'd look through the Network Adapter optimizations here: https://www.speedguide.net/articles/network ...

Re: TCP optimizer settings dont change fix
Newer versions of Windows don't let us tweak the RWIN setting, it is "auto-tuned" by the TCP/IP stack.
The TCP Optimizer "Optimal" settings are good set for Windows 10/11 if you want to try that. You should NOT have to reinstall the OS if you want to revert settings.

Clever... I will look into a similar rule.
What I do with my influx of hundreds emails per day, is:
1. Setup antispam on the speedguide mail server (Weighting based on Bayesian score, DKIM, SPF, From country, From domain reputation, and a number of other checks), and move spam to a "Junk" folder ...

Emails can take a while if you are sending to a different domain, especially if it does not have some of the antispam protections schemes (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), it is not whitelisted by antispam databases, etc. Email is kind of a complicated/convoluted scheme that was originally intended for text, and ...

You are talking about browsers though, not ad-blocking extensions.
From what I read:

Chromium-based: Brave, Vivaldi (streaming services and workspaces may be a bit better supported, if you care)

What is your default browser? Some of them may have built-in "security" as in DNS, VPN, etc. that shows your geolocation somewhere else. Could be a security extension too.
Another option is that the geolocation of your IP address from your ISP extends into Mexico, not sure, heh.

The Analyzer has not been changed recently, it just reads what your connection to the Analyzer server advertises.
It really depends on the path, most likely some modem/router/node near you may be advertising the smaller max packet size to fit PPPoE encapsulation.
