You can't directly change the RWIN/TCP Window value in Windows 10, so don't worry about it, as long as the TCP Auto Tuning is set on "Auto" in the TCP Optimizer it will be fine.
Congrats on the updated Internet speed, that's quite a difference, heh
Yeah, most manufacturers are moving away from the MicroSD slot. OnePlus only has it on their budget phones, like OnePlus Nord CE4 (2024 model).
That said, when I fill up 128Gb/256Gb I just backup videos/pics to the PC and start over anyway.. I do have some mp3s on the phone, but for music I also ...
I stopped buying Samsung phones, I have their Galaxy S Tablet thgough.
For phones, I look at OnePlus or Google Pixel, etc. Something with more stock Android and good specs, without paying the Samsung premium.
Android or Apple? 8 years is a lot in phone years, heh.. I change mine every 2-3 years it seems. Newer OS versions usually require better hardware, newer models have better cameras, etc.
I was encoding some old TV shows in x265 HEVC, and just switching to the appropriate NVDIA codec vs the default one gave me like 3x encoding boost, 3x reduction in time, even though my CPU is pretty good (Ryzen 9 7900).
They don't, heh, unless they have money from a side hustle, or a Youtube channel, discord followers, family, etc. The most expensive cards I bought were close to 1k, but I used them for crypto mining, so that they paid for themselves in less than 6 months. I have a RTX3080 in my rig now, I liked the ...
Most models that are fairly recent (released in the past couple of years) should be fine. Depending on your use, there are two major things I consider: 1) Screen size - anything from 8" for one-handed reading use, ~10" is good versatile size, and 12" feels more like a laptop/stationary use. 2) SIM ...
If the issue is only with your own client, that machine may need some TCP tuning. I would try enabling "Jumbo Frames". I would go through all the Network Adapter settings, turn off any "Packet Coalescing" and "Offloads", "Green Ethernet", etc. Look through this article: https://www.speedguide.net ...
When starting the TCP Optimizer tries to read all properties from the Windows Registry, etc., however, it may not be able to read all adapter-specific settings for all network adapters.. Probably that's the case, it just doesn't read all settings on startup, even though it applies them properly ...
Yeah, totalitarian regimes at some point just dig in, regardless of what it will do to their economy, that's not their driving force. China scares me much more than Russia though. Their economy/GDP is huge, they have more engineers than us, they have more factories than us, their work force is ...
The tariffs rollercoaster, heh.. Even Apple airlifted 600 tons of iPhones out of India to the US at the end of March to mitigate the effects of tariffs, companies don't know what their costs will be tomorrow.
Seems to me tariffs shouldn't be that complicated. You can't always try to use them as a ...
I also used Teamviewer a few years back, until they made it very expensive, and marked every residential user as "business"... It basically broke most clients, many people moved away from it.
I haven't used Aero Admin. Could be something with the protocols it uses, and/or a "Virtual Monitor Driver". If it happens to a PC you can play with, I would compare with another tool like UVNC.
For Flatpack MCU... there is a manual that suggests password is set to a default "service" See page 72 https://nickvsnetworking.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/351300-013_OperGde_Flatpack-MCU-Mon-Ctrl-Unit.pdf
For the Flatpack v2, the default password to change parameters ...
The site has been under a DDoS attack for the past couple of days, you may have noticed posting to the forums was disabled at times (when server load is high), and the site was sluggish to load, unresponsive at times.
Seems it was a targeted attack to the site, as other IPs in our block and the ...
It's all about confidence. Give it a couple years. Reducing federal spending is like weaning an alcoholic and it hurts.
I agree with you it's about confidence, and balancing the budget is necessary, and a good thing. Even reducing the size of the federal government is a good thing. The issue is ...
Market has been too hot for a couple of years, with the Trump trade war, it may be just the catalyst that pushes us into a bigger selloff, I don't know about recession. We shall see how this plays out, I would be very careful with investments.
Trump just said he will double tariffs on Canadian ...
Whoa, look who popped in, it's been ages, good to see you!
Ken passed away, we switched to phpBB, YSCat moved to Florida and survived a couple of major hurricanes a couple of weeks apart, forum is kind of slow but a few of the regulars still stop by.
