PROBLEM======================================
I am using 6.4 as default now as XP can't play some movies but 6.4 can (codec installed...

I left it for a day then I booted it up again the audio hardware just came back (no "windows had detected new hardware")

At first the Winamp did produce sound but weird sounds lasting only one...

My old Win95 com suddenly lost it's sound.

It says there is no prefered hardware in the multimedia control panel. There are no audio devices in the advanced tab.

Tried "Add new hardware" but...

After a shut down and a rest of 6 hours the situation seems better, that corner seems brighter.
