What Tony T said. The last a/v install I did had HDMI pass-through on the receiver, the audio system SHOULD be the base unit.

I backup the working drives of my systems to retired hdd's.I also keep my documents,pix,and various other files/records on another backup source,generally usb drives,or cd-r's/dvd-r's.
