the computer is a dell xps 630i its been doing this for about 3 weeks now and was all fine untill it was reformatted due to a virus its been a pain since.

hi could someone please help . the problem i am having is when i turn on my computer i get a black screen at the bottom of the screen it tells me to press the F1 to boot wich i have to do everytime...

yes the error i keep getting is this. class win 32_error start service 577 windows can't verify digital signature for this file.

can anybody tell me how to get peergaurdian2 to work with vista 64 bit it's a real pain.

mccoffee tried your first suggestion and all seems ok hope this stops the blackscreen from coming back again thanks for your help and to everyone else who tried to help.

i tried all suggestions and still having no luck even turned off the security desk top as someone else told me but that doesn't work either vista is a real pain.

hi. tried your suggestion changed the screensaver with no luck then disabled it still no good the screen still goes black after about an hour of use then i have to reboot it.

can someone please help. i am using vista home premium when my screen has been on for about an hour i get a black screen come up i then have no access at all and then have to reboot the computer...
