I've been a member here for about 10 years now. Within those 10 years I've had tried to support not only the members here but also the site itself. When I first heard about Speed Guide it was from a Verizon tech when I first got ADSL for the Internet, 10 years back. The Verizon tech told me if I wanted to "tweak" my speed on all of my computers, I should visit SpeedGuide.net, and I have been a member ever since.
Wow.. going 10 years back career wise at the start, I use to be a Hardware / Software Technician, then I was on a level / tier 1 and 2 help desk for both private and government clients. After that I was supporting both Windows, Unix servers and LAN / WAN issues. And now I'm doing everything on a large enterprise environment, as a Network Engineer / Server Administrator / IT Security Specialist / Other on a Tier / Level 3 and 4 help desk. I also have acquired many IT vendor neutral certifications over the years, (most of them, people probably would yawn at). But all in all.. the the most thing that I love doing the most, is being a hardware / software technician and working on workstations.
I would like to Thank everyone for their support over the years, especially YeOldeStonecat and Philip. Here's to the next 10 years at SG.
