  1. Moved into a new home this week...

  2. Clear to Close

    That was what my mortgage lender told me this afternoon as I was talking to him on the way home from work. So, within the next few days, we close on our house that we've been working to get for the last couple of months...a 2300 sq. foot house on five acres just south of Amarillo. I'm so stoked.

    An art class I took years and years ago pointed out that capturing someone's attention was as important, if not more so, than the art itself when it came to advertising. The example our teacher gave us was a full spread newspaper ad that had nothing more than a red dot several inches wide centered on the page, along with the name of the company underneath. It was very hard to miss. With that in mind, I was playing around with a couple of shots the other day, using a rubber kong ball our dog plays ...
