  1. Red Ball

    An art class I took years and years ago pointed out that capturing someone's attention was as important, if not more so, than the art itself when it came to advertising. The example our teacher gave us was a full spread newspaper ad that had nothing more than a red dot several inches wide centered on the page, along with the name of the company underneath. It was very hard to miss. With that in mind, I was playing around with a couple of shots the other day, using a rubber kong ball our dog plays ...

  3. Man's Best Friend?

    I took this picture last summer while we were out camping at Lake Meredith National Recreation Area, about 25 miles north of Amarillo. This is our daughter's brother-in-law, and the dog is his. The dog could be described as being very OCD, until food is involved, and you end up with what you see here
