Guys I got a smokin deal on two laser printers and was wondering how much you think there worth. One is a HP laserjet series II in pristine condition. The print quality is great. I paid $5.00 for it. Yes I said $5.00. The second one is a Panasonic KX-P4410. It's a little dirty and has a very small crack in the paper tray cover. Print quality is great as well. I will need to clean it up some but it works great. I paid $10.00. Once again not a typo, $10.00.

I bought a HP deskjet 672 with no cartridges for $19.00 and got $50.00 for it. It was in pristine condition.

What do you think I should sell them for?

I'm not sure how much they're worth...

but I'd definately be interested in the series 2, although there are no winxp drivers.

let me know what you're hoping for.

Hmmmm, I found the drivers in XP. I used 2k to test it. Do you want to buy it? I don't have a problem with sending it to you but the thing weighs 50lbs. Hit your local swap meet my friend you could probably find one cheaper than it would cost to ship it to you.

thanks for the fast reply. I was shocked at how heavy the review site said. I'm sure you'll be able to sell it AND get a good price. i hope to get myself into buying a laser in the near future.

I've had a chance to buy 4 laser printers in the last few days. I found 3 at the swap meet and one at a thrift store. That HP 672 that I mentioned earler was bought at a thrift store. Now two of the 4 laser printers were not in that great of condition so steered clear of them but the HP laserjet was bought at a yardsale and looked like it just came out of the box. The Panasonic was bought at the swap meet. Now I already have a new laser printer that I bought a few months ago, it's a Samsung and I paid $200.00 on sale.

I've considered that same samsung, are you happy with it?

I love it. It has a 66mhz risc cpu and 16mb ram. It's fast as hell and print quality is great. I got 1500 pages out of one toner cartridge but it will do better than that. It has a toner save mode feature that extends the life of the toner. Say's it will 2000 to 2500 pages in that mode.

Nice on the LaserJet....even if an ancient beast like the II...still way better for printing B&W's than a pokey deskjet. Should have no problem finding toner's for quite some time.

That Panasonic...dot matrix one? If so, they're workhorses.

You guy's have got to stop me! Heeeelp I just can't stop. I found a laserjet 4 that works great but dirty for $10.00, another HP 672 for $12.00 not tested yet but does power up and print head and paper tray functions all work and a HP 4200c scanner for $10.00 in like new condition.

I may just sell my Samsung printer and keep the laserjet 4. It's got a print server for lan built in.

Now there's the "workhorse" printer of the world...the gool old LJ 4 with the MIO in the back. Talk about something that takes forever to setup the TCP/IP on that through the old green LED setup. Man I can't even count how many of those I've setup and have going out there.

Any idea's what I can sell them for?

If you can hold out until Dave's World comes back from his hunting trip in Maine, he's out HP specialist, can tell ya more there. But I'd wager, with the MIO, you could snag at least 300 bucks...US. They were about a thousand new, depreciation 30% per year, at least 4 years old.

Wow, that's fantastic. I knew the lj 4 was exspensive new but I had know idea on what to ask. I guess $10.00 was a good deal.

And... I have a brand new internal JetDirect to fit that LaserJet 4 too, in case you're interested.

Edit: ooops... just read it had internal.
