I've got a 2.4Ghz P4 and it says I'm running it at 1.82Ghz, how do I make sure it's running at top speed? I've attached a screenshot of what it says in my Systems configurations window.

Thanks for the help!

get the updated bios of ur Mobo cause the the p4 2.4 runs at 133fsb, but urs is running at 100, that could be cause u misconfigured ur bios. or ur bios cant handle it. Just make the fsb to 133 in ur bios

Use a real utility like SANDRA or something to see what it is really running at. I dont know about XP but in older versions of windows that window says whatever you make it say.

18 x 100Mhz = 1.8Ghz
18 x 133Mhz = 2.4Ghz
:D:D

Make sure it's running at 133Mhz ;)

I agree with cy. Check your BIOS and make sure the settings are set to 133. I had the same prooblem initially when I installed my P4 2.4.
