The funny thing is that people work hard to become rich and when they do, most of them don't even know how much money they actually have. When you reconcile their books and they see how much expense they have each month, it's amazing to watch them go apoplectic.

roofle, yes the age ole debate

trekkie or trekker

i've always gone with trekkie for myself, but not defined by the points on that web page...

simply by the fact that when the original series aired if you liked trek you were a trekkie...

i use it in the old school term definition... it was the first term used...

trekker came later

since i started with the old series and t hen watched all the movies and then did TNG etc.... i have stuck with Trekkie...

to me, it sounds better then trekker :D

A fellow geek! It seems my family is a Trek magnet.

I met Armin Shimerman at the Experience in Vegas a couple of years ago, got his autograph and had a short chat. My dad was in a john in Vegas last year at the urinal and in walks Robert Picardo and whizzes next to him. My brother went to a convention out in North Carolina when he was stationed at Camp Lejeune and met Marina Sirtis. The turnout was so small (it was on-base) that a lot of the attendees were invited to go out to eat with her and they spent an evening dining and joking with good ol' Counselor Troi.

We're destined for Trek encounters!
