I have asked this question before but have to ask it again seeing how there is only 2 dollars difference between the price of the two cpu's. Which one is better for overclocking point blank which cpu will attain a higher processor speed?

The P4 2.4ghz 533fsb
or the P4 2.26ghz 533fsb

And if you have these chips please input what you have overclocked to *stable though

Thanks

it depends on the mobo too... each mobo is different for overclocking. A better question would be which cpu and mobo os best for overclocking! :D

I have a 2.4ghz and anytime i try getting any speed out of it it wouldn't post, So i pulled and went a bought 2.8 and got 3.15ghz out of it. I would say the 2.53ghz. JMO:D

Why does the 2.26 cost more than the 2.4

I have a 2.5G with the 400 bus. It cruises at 2.75 so far without any voltage tweaks. I have seen sites caming this puppy can go over 3.0 without too much trouble. I have the 3200 Corsair CL2.... When I have all the sofware in place, I will post.
