I posted a thread on this earlier. The mobo said it will support I thought an AMD up to 366 after bios flash but after reading it says this:

P5T30-B4
REV: 1.4

AMD K6-III 400Mhz, 450Mhz
support NO

AMD K6-2 533Mhz (see notes)
Support NO

AMD K6-2
300, 333, 350, 380, 400, 450, 475, 500, 550Mhz (see notes)
Support NO

AMD K6-2
266Mhz, 366Mhz
Support YES

I can't find the 366 chip but is the mobo manufactuer just saying it doesn't support that. I mean two things are going to happen if I slap a 400mhz amd K6-2 in there
1. It's not going to work
and 2. It's only going to recognize the 366 right

Which one is it??

Hey I'm stupid I think I just found the answer so the 400 will work right? After this revelation

AMD K6-2 300/ 350/ 400/ 450 CPUs use a 100Mhz Bus Clock. These chips could be run at 75Mhz or below on *P5T30-B4* Rev 1.4, P5T30-B4E, P5VP3-B3 and P5T30-A4 Rev 2.3X mainboards. However, these CPUs are shown as not supported due to the fact that the maximum speed capable cannot be exploited. P5MVP-A4/B4 supports 100Mhz Bus Clock.

Yes Cameron, the 400 will work acording to those specs ;)

And the clock speed will be 100Mhz
