A freind off mine has asked me to look into upgrading his pc. its an old a
gateway that has a zappa mother board and a P120Mhz chip 16mb ram .

where can i find what chip will fit into his motherboard. ???

this unit was made back in 1996

doesnt say , it isa one of those info sheets that you get from gateway, i havent cracked the case yet . tiberian sun was calling me first

I found a manual for

Zappa

Pentium P54C, Socket 5, 82430 FX Triton Chipset
no model given..that's why I asked about Chipset

fyi i cracked the case today, i am going to suggst to himto get a new pc 1996 vintage, not been kept up to date with service packs ect....... 1 gig hard drive,YIKES
