I have the SL-75drv5. I'm not really that happy with it. The RED STORM over clocking didn't work as advertised. I read a few reviews that said it did. I'm thinking about a RMA on this board and going with something else!

Duzmor, I think it would be a rockin board if it lived up to expectations! I am going to order the ABIT AT7 VIA KT333 Chipset Socket A ATX Motherboard .

Specs: Supports AMD-K7 Athlon /Athlon XP Socket A 200/266MHz FSB Processors. Supports AMD-K7 Duron Socket A 200 MHz FSB Processors. Supports Ultra DMA 33/66/100/133 IDE protocol. Supports 200/266/333 MHz (100/133/166MHz Double Data Rate) Memory Bus Setting. Ultra DMA 133/ RAID. Four 184-pin DIMM sockets support. PC1600/PC2100/ PC2700 DDR DRAM modules. Supports DDR333 unbuffered DRAMs up to 2GB and registered DRAMs up to 3GB. Supports 6 banks up to 3GB DRAMs for unbuffered DDR200/266 modules. Supports 8 banks up to 3.5GB DRAMs for registered DDR200/266 modules. 1 AGP 1.5v slot, 3 PCI slots. No PS2 KB/Mouse Ports.

I've read a few reviews on the board and it looks like the real thing. The only thing I will need to upgrade is my keyboard. Good luck on your search for a new board.

the board is fine. people whine about mobos cause they expect to OC a 1.5 axp to 3ghz or some crap on a mobo w/ no 1/5 pci divider.. ALL motherboards have compatibility issues, that's what the forums on the web are for...no one posts to say "mine works good, yours should too"..it's all "help me fix it".....solotek will be fine. it's a good board. i'm considering purchasing one also. plus don't go solely on reviews, i had some 'time' with an at7, biggest PAIN in the ass i've ever played with (other than an old ECS board i had heh).. stupid thing wouldn't post, had good memory, double checked in my system.. played with it for 3 days...THEN change the proc, still no go..finally get it to post w/ the axp 2100+..fine..goes thru installing windows..via drivers..etc..etc..etc.. and wHAMOa blue screen..ended up having my friend RMA BOTH the board and the proc heh..i do LOVE the highpoint controller on it tho...altho it's a beast..supports hot swapping harddisks....it's AWESOME..oh and of course the usual goodly abit bios..

you guys should take note that because of the agp dividers at higher fsbs, you WILL get higher general performance in 3d games w/ a kt266a board..just lettin ya know (depending on the divider, for example at 166+ my epox switches to a 2/5 agp divider).. anyway good luck.. don't be brand loyal.. that = the way to get shafted.. tried my hand at asus.. they're ok.. i don't love them..abit pretty darned nice. i'd buy again...epox so far so good, only had a few months tho, so jury is still out..the bios has some kinks and low memory performance unless u use an old bios revision which lacks some features..but all in all good board altho bios needs some work..oh yea, it undervolts the processor by around .025v..so 1.775 = 1.74...altho it's SUPPOSED to have 3phase power..who knows...then again vcore goes up to 2.2 in cmos setup..so who cares hehe...the abits over volt...which i like.. ecs *shudder*...chaintech *shudder*...shuttle i've never tried...so far..so i don't know. same w/ jetway and some of the other small brands
