Actually the gold or silver would look fine.
On this Asus board, the Raid ports are only 5 inches away from my harddrives....I figured I'd never find anything shorter than 18 inch so I think I'll order a pair.

They both are good braided metal. The gold is actually copper color, and well, the silver is silver colored...

Now that we are into specifics :D , let me see if I can locate some red or blue...
