Step two Complete

Well, Seeing as I had the covers painted from my how to paint a case walkthrough (http://216.183.147.174/paint/) I figured maybe I should paint the box :)
After gutting the case I cut filed and sanded the stamped grills from the case to give the fans some breathing room, also the power supply grate.
I then gave the rest a bath in " True Blue ' inside and out.
After drying I reasembled positioning drives for best air flow.
Next week Iwill do the backer board, probably in Aluminum for contrast but still havn't made up my mind on that:) and some chrome wire fan grills, if I can find someone around here who has them.

Need to pick up a new ROM or DVD, still thinkin on that.
Bigest thing I'm stuck on is what to do with the drive bays???
DamnI wished I got that Theater Sound card with the blue drive bay instead of the Live 5.1:(
And after that some wire loom if I can find it in red or Yellow and some graphics, still thinkin checkered flag waving across the case.

Gigabyte GA-6VX7-1394 With firewire, got to get a few more months out of this one, PIII 866, then when I build the next one this will rplace my 450PIII as my server:

Thanks Immy, but I thought that part looks like poop.....lol
Did that way back when, don't particularely like the tape now.
Have to redo that if I can get some nice cable sleeves.

But it does aid in air flow :)

BTW, how bout that reflection on the bottom of the case, you would swear its still wet to look at

damn fan only lasted two months.........lol
Nice little crome grill though so i kept it for just that reason :)

Chris, you are an artist! Why are you wasting those talents in the construction industry? Man you should be painting cases and stufferz for a living!

Nice color, I wouldn't worry about the fan grills unless you have small pets. You won't be poking around the back of you pc much anyway.

Whats really cool is you reach over and grab a handfull of case to move it over a bit on the desk and ya stick your fingers into the fan..........lol
