Look at this wireing :D
Can you see four neon tubes? I even painted fleckstone on the on the ends of the neon tubes , to hide them better.
Encased all of the case wires in shrink tube to help make it neater too.
Made my own hard drive cage because I didn't like the way Lian Li had the drives mounted sideways. :D

Here's what it looks like with the neon on, at night it lights up half my damn livingroom. :D
Seems like red is a hard color to photograph with a digi cam. None of the pictures I took seem to come out right.

Here's the Spiderman fan grills. They look KILLER!
I cut out the front of the case to mount them.
Now all I have to do is fix the big f@%king scratch I made when cutting the holes.

what is on the inside?

fleckstone? never heard of it

is it just paint or is it textured?

did you have to paint the whole thing by hand and how'd you do it?

i'm very interested in that inside job

If I told ya, I'd have to kill ya :D

No really, it's paint. It makes one hell of a mess, overspray gets everywere. Paint the case with gray primer first. It will help the fleckstone stick better, and give you a basecoat so that you don't have to put the fleckstone on so thick. Also after the fleckstone dries, which takes a couple of days, you need to cover it with clearcoat. The fleckstone will "fleck off" if you don't.

I got the fleckstone from Wal-Mart.

Thanks for the compliments y'all. I've been working on this case on and off since last December.

If I didn't have a job, I would've had it finished by now. Of course then I would have to live in that case. :D

Hey Roundeye, did a little photoshoppin on Splashes case to give you an idea.
And if you look at a good pic of Spidey the webing on the suit is kinda raised, you could do some awesome effects on the case with something like that liquid fabric glue. Its available in colors like gold and silver, you could do a spidey web around the bottom of the case, it would be slightly raised like on the Spidey costume.
Would be a great effect.
And Spideys head would be and awsome mural on the case, or Spidey Eyes for a widow... :)

You might also find a cool Spidey Keyring that with the key hoop ground off would make a really cool case badge:)

Chris, that's an awesome idea, even though I'm pretty good with my hands and building things, I can't draw worth a damn. I would probably screw things up big time.

My wife told me I should make a spiderweb on the glass, on the side panel. Using that art stuff that people make fake stained glass windows with. I just don't want to chance it to be honest, if I screw up I would have to replace the window because the stuff can't be scaped off.

Remember an old artsy technique called decopage, where you cut out a picture from a magazine then glued it on, then there was this suff sort of like white glue that you brushed over the pic that turned out like clearcoat.
Spidey's head would be so cool on your case.
Or maybe one of your old biker buddies might owe ya one and do an airbrushing for you:)
