....lets list some sites for case mod supplies, so that people know where they can get thier fix for thier case mod addiction.

Just one note, if you never have ordered from the company please let people know this. I would hate to see people get burned from some fly-by-night company.

http://so-trickcomputers.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv
Easy people to deal with, bumped me up to a better case once when the case I ordered was out of stock, for the same price.

http://www.coolerguys.com/ Ordered a few things from here, no problems with any thing.

http://www.directron.com/ Ordered some stuff from here.

http://www.radioshack.com/ much more here than in thier local stores. Ordered LED's, switches ect. from here.

http://www.homedepot.com Got many of my mod supplies here, such as Dremel bits, jig saw bits, sand paper ect.

I'll post more when I get home from work.

I have ordered stuff from these sites and had no problems:

I am only going to list places that I have actually bought from, received what I ordered, in a timely fashion and was charged correctly.
I had no problems with these places... ;)

HDD Coolers

HDD coolers...

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would NOT recommend these ba$tards:
http://store.yahoo.com/buycaseonline/ <--- misleading & product switching, cheap stuff! (Dump Computers.com) They = Teh SuXors!

I ordered 3 each model# MF2100 Lian-Li Professional HDD Coolers, at $39.00 each totaling $117.00 and 2 each Silver Sony Floppy drives at $16.50, The grand total with shipping was $162.43, one night.

They charged my card immediately. The next morning, I clicked on the link to review what I had purchased the night before. The link to the coolers was a dead link... (I had clicked on this bookmarked link several times before I purchased.)
I could not find the model that I had ordered the night before, anywhere on their site.

I became suspicious and told Philip that either we ordered the last they had or they didn't have any.
Well, sure enough, half priced substitute HDD Coolers arrived a week or so later...

http://store.yahoo.com/buycaseonline/alhardrivcoo.html
They sent me 3 of these (only rated for up to 10,000 RPM hard drives) which cost $15.99 each.

(I have 2 Seagate Cheetahs 15,000 RPMs each and had ordered this model which is special for 15K HD's)
http://www.viewline.be/lianli/Coolinghd.htm

A big difference in quality and price. They never said a word. Of course "their" product model number now points to the cheaper model, and they do not have the Pro model on their site anymore...
I had researched this enough times to know which cooler I needed and ordered and would not have paid $39 each for $16 each, insufficient coolers...

Not to mention their "Silver Floppy Disk Drive" is just a bad paint job...

DumpComputers.com SUCKS!! Be very careful ordering through StoreYahoo, they could careless what happens as long as they get their cut...

Ken,
I bought this sound damping from Sound Domain for my case. It made a world of difference in the sound level of the case itself. I put it on first then painted the fleckstone over it. The kit comes with plenty enough material for a standard case, and maybe enough to cover the entire inside of a server case.

Come to think about it, I did put some in my server case. I put some on the bottom, top and both side panels. You can't even tell my server is running.

Thats is quite a bit of damper for $45! Many places on the net, that sell computer damper (same thing...), for that amount and you get about half as much product!

If you need fans, I do recommend getting those in the other thread. You can't beat the price and quality!

I have been working on some cool expandable sleeving sites.
It is hard to find in colors, but I have a more direct source that sells 100' reels for the price of about 5' at puter stores! ;) I will let you know the specifics a little later...

Also, I have been working with the owner of a lighting factory, designing some special lighting for my new box. He is really cool!
If any of you guys have been checking out lighting, let me know as this is the best quality EL lighting around, no doubt. ;)
Specifics to follow...

Hey Roundeye,
That is a nice wiring job!! :)
If you want to cover those fan wires with the same expandable sleeve that is on your PSU, let me know what color. I need to order a couple of reels of different sizes and colors...(way more than Philip & I need, plus at a very cheap price!)
Then heat shrink the ends for a great finish! :D
