LOL...well, that wouldn't exactly be honest first of all ;), but I don't think that the LCD market value would allow me to ask for much more than I currently am. In fact, the price I'm asking is based mostly upon the fact that I've taken excellent care of it.

well, i didn't mean to criticize but the current market value of a brand new 17" LCD monitor is about $400 ($100 different in brand name). don't you think you asked a bit too high for a 1 year old with minor defect one? a year ago, a 1 gig AMD thunderbird processor cost almost $250 now they only cost $92. the computer parts price go down more than you could imagine.

Peace!!

For $400 you will not find a 17" LCD worth unpacking! Samsung is making some great 17" panels and the cheapest go for around $750 and high ends for about $1100. Even garbage like Proview 17" panels are $585. Can't compare LCDs to CPUs, just isn't the same.

Ok, did I get ripped by Gateway for my 17" flat panel display? Where in the heck are you finding a 17" flat panel display from $400.00? I want it, I'll take it.
