That's the case I'm doing my next mod with, can't wait to get started. I just don't have enough money for the hard drives yet. I'm going to take out the 40Gig, IBM GXP 60's out of my server and put them in my game pc, and get two of the 80Gig IBM Deskstar 120GXP's for the server. I need more storage and that should hold me for a while. :D

I'm thinking of getting two more Maxtor drives and setting them up RAID with the two I have now. Kinda overkill on the drivespace but you know what I say "if it can be done, do it." :D

oh btw it is a sweet case, I love it and so do my friends. They were all like ooohhh aahhhh. LOL

I've been checking out cases, very nice. Just learning about this stuff, so probably a stupid question but are these cases better as far as heat transfer, noise stuff like that?

Thanks
:)

Heat transfer, yes. noise, well i'm not sure what you're asking. inside the front of the case(behind all those holes) are 2 80mm fans, plus one in the back, plus 2 on the ps, and soon to be one more in the top. I don't believe it's any noisier than any other case with the same amount of fans though.

I'm gonna be getting a pre-cut Lian-Li box soon, too. ThinkGeek.com (http://www.thinkgeek.com/) has a nice one, and they also sell other modding equipment like cool cathode and neon tubes, light strips, etc.

Here's a combination picture and link... click on the picture to go to the page for this product:

Not bad if I do say so myself...

I didn't mean yours was noisy. lol I meant from time to time ours is. Just didn't think ours was normal is what I was getting at. It doesn't happen all the time, like right now I hardly hear it and other times don't laugh it sortof grunts. Don't know how else to explain it but that's what it sounds like. This one only has one fan, could that be why it gets noisy?
Thanks :)

how can I not laugh at that ??

:D:rotfl:

Amp - I don't know I haven't checked the temps in awhile. I noticed it was running a little warm b4 I installed the Volcano, I think they were around 52 on the proc/ 38 on the board. That's why I will be cutting a hole in the top of this case. In alot of reviews I have read, they say the volcano is not an overclockers HSF as it doesn't perform as well as some others like the alpha but I like the way it looks, how quiet it is, and it does the job.
