yeah, i can honestly say the Northwood (more L2/higher fsb/.13 micron) is very sexyyyy and is peaking my interest, who knows, gamers may yet go back to Intel :p !

still performance may be on the high gear for intel on the chip, but what about pricing?

high gear as well!!! lol

amd woont go higher than 2200+ before going to .13 so amd is right in the race still too.

That's the Northwood A, still on a 400Mhz (Quad-Pumped) bus. The Northwood B will be on a 533 (Quad-Pumped) bus, and will, according to early reports, have Hyperthreading.

Yeah i almost went with a P4 on this upgrade but i will wait till the next generation comes out to see what's what. i figure this time next year i will looking to upgrade again, and a 533mhz bus P4 might be a good candidate....Me thinks Me needs to start saving Me pennies now:D
