Never was , and never will be .

My advice , wait to see some benchmarks ,before you buy .
This is what the most people do .

I dont get it, how can there be more than 1 type of Geforce 3 ti200?

Hey CoolJ.

Nvidia doesnt make their own boards, they just sell the chips, code the drivers, and send out a "recommended" reference design.

Each manufacturer actually produces cards of varying quality and with different features.

They all may be called Ti 200's but they all have different strengths, weaknesses, and specialties.

Which one suits your needs is up to you.

Gainward has the best 2D image quality of all the manufacturers since they use the best 2D filters.

You know you should just get an 8500.

This card is quite lovely, and I don't usually use that word unless I really mean it (for fear of putting my own sexuality in question). :D

It is indeed. But recent reviews state that the XP drivers are buggy. And FPS In UT is hella bad due to that :)

You're wrong, LeadTek has the best 2D quality, even better than Matrox cards, read the review @ http://firingsquad.gamers.com/hardware/winfastti500/

All GF3 cards by LeadTek cept for the GF3 TH has the enhanced 2D quality (that includes the Ti series)

Interesting.

How come Anand or the other major reviewers havent done anything on this yet.

It seems pretty big.
